Identification of Aircraft

Once aircraft radar identification has been established, the pilot shall be informed so by using the phrase "radar contact". Thereafter, radar identification shall be maintained until termination of the radar service. If radar identification is subsquently lost, the pilot shall be informed accordingly and, when applicable, appropriate instructions shall be issued.
