    Selection of desired IAS or Mach, when speed intervention is active.
  • B
    Definition of a speed interval (minimum to maximum airspeed) when in VS controlled modes.
  • C
    Disengagement of autothrottle in speed modes for manual intervention.
  • D
    Toggle between target speed setting as IAS or Mach number.
The switches/buttons represented have the following meaning:

1. Display of the FD command bars.
2. Switch that enables the auto-throttle to be engaged under given conditions.
3. While in VNAV, pushing this button will allow you to select a temporary IAS/Mach different from the VNAV computed speed.
4. Engagement of either autopilots (A or B).
