5.2.1.7 CALLING
5.2.1.7.1 Radiotelephony Call signs for Aeronautical Stations
Note.- The formation of call signs as specified in ITU Radio Regulations S19 Section III and Section VII.
5.2.1.7.1.1 Aeronautical stations in the aeronautical mobile service shall be identified by:
a) the name of the location; and
b) the unit or service available.
5.2.1.7.1.2 The unit or service shall be identified in accordance with the table below except that the name of the location or the unit/service may be omitted provided satisfactory communication has beeen established.
