Here are the different speeds with the associated visual indicators (colored arcs) of an airspeed indicator:

White arc:

  • Lower limit – VS0: stalling speed with flaps extended.
  • Upper limit – VFE: maximum speed with flaps extended.

Green Arc:

  • Lower limit – VS1: stalling speed in clean configuration.
  • Upper limit – VN0: maximum speed in normal operation.

Yellow arc:

  • Lower limit – VN0: maximum speed in normal operation.
  • Upper limit – VNE: Red Line - never exceed speed.
