91.06.33 Semi-circular rule

(1) Unless otherwise directed by an ATSU, the PIC of an aircraft in level flight shall fly at an altitude or flight level, as appropriate, selected according to magnetic track from the table as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 91 (…).

(2) Aircraft flown in accordance with VFR at a height of less than 1500 feet above the surface, shall not be required to comply with the provisions of sub-regulation (1), unless if otherwise directed by an ATSU.

(3) A flight conducted from flight level 200 and above, shall be flown in compliance with IFR.
